Yet Another Visit from an Old Friend...
Don't you just hate it when real life issues interfere with sims 2/internet time? ;) After this update, I'll be at the point where I installed University. Finally, whew! I can't believe it's been over a month.
Anyway... on with the update.
Apparently the bumbling burglar from days long past decided that he was once again, going to try his luck at ransacking Zamora Manor. They'd moved up in the world considerably since his last visit. There'd be lot's of shinies to steal!
Too bad he forgot about his arch-nemesis, the burglar alarm, once again. Oh, bumbling burglar... whatever will we do with you!
"I don't know nuthin' 'bout no painting that was yeigh big, honest!"
I decided that since the burglar was so insistent upon visiting the family, I'd befriend him incase I needed a NPC in the future. So Gisela crept outside and let him free. I'm not sure what she was thinking, but this was not about to be a romantic encounter. Unlike Jane, she was going to be faithful! Or try to, at least.
"Hi, can I have your number?"
Afterwards, a nice little family breakfast... since thanks to the burglary, everyone's schedules were messed up. It was here that I noticed Gisela and Connor had color coordinated PJ's. I did not do this, but I think it's cute!
"And I said to him... 'man, make love... not sandwiches'..."
Time ticks away quickly, and soon Gisela and Connor became gray and wrinkly. It was like all other age transitions, uneventful and full of confetti that seemed to come out of nowhere and clean itself up! Well, whatever works.
"Cool... I'm wrinkly!"
Shortly after, Lucio becomes an adult. His bride-to-be, Renee, just happened to be there for the joyous occassion. Lucio looks a lot of like Connor, but has the 'Zamora nose'. Steven's genes just refuse to let go!
"All right! When's the wedding? Wait, what do you mean 'what wedding'?"
They fell in love quickly and Renee moved in. She got a quick makeover and I found out she's a... Knowledge sim. Bah! She's got a mediocre personality and okay skills. Nothing really 'wow' worthy. It's unfortunate, a lot of the NPCs that married into the Zamora's were rather plain or boring personality/skills wise.

Even more kissing as the two get engaged and married... all in the same day! Lucio isn't exactly the patient type. He is a Family sim, after all.
"I do!"
"Mmph... me too!"
Of course, it isn't long until Renee is expecting. Gisela looks happy, despite having next to no interest in her family! Maybe she's gotten wiser in her elder years... or maybe she's just plain senile.
'Please, please don't inherit your mother's lips!'
Catalina is born, and unfortunately, doesn't have a picture as a baby. So let's skip on down to those toddler years! She's got her mother's nose, but is thankfully devoid of any freakishly large lips. She also doesn't have brown hair. All right!
Her personality was all positive, except for being a lazy.
"I've come to claim my crown!"
Of course, it was around this time that I finally checked the family plot... only to see Jane's platinum tombstone gone. D'oh! I didn't have any photographic evidence of it, either... so I quickly snapped a shot of the remaining ones.
It seems the burglar didn't leave empty handed after all...
Thus ends this update! Phew... hopefully there won't be such a long span of time between the next one.

Aw man, how did you let the burglar out of the police car? I tried that and couldn't get it to work! What was the policeman doing at the time?
Anyway, fun update to read, as usual! Catalina is a cute toddler -- I can't wait to see what she looks like when she grows up. I love how you got Gisela and Connor to become elders at the same time. Cool pic. :-D

Haha! No, he didn't actually take the tombstone... it was a game glitch. :( That just made it more amusing.
