There's No Clean Like Alien Ghost Clean!
After what seems like forever, Lucio becomes a child and immediately begins discussing engagement with his grandpa. Even I haven't picked him out a wife yet! Slow down there, little man.

"Do you think I can get engaged to a zebra?"
Turning into a child in Zamora instantly warrants a visit from the Headmaster. He's more than happy to accept little Lucio into his Academy. These people already have a networth closing in on the 1,000,000 simolean range!
I find it amusing that both Reina and Connor smile while Gisela looks on in disgust at the Headmaster's lack of manners. Poor Elmer sits by himself at the island counters... he really seems to enjoy those.

"I hope you don't represent the Academy's Manner program..."
Unfortunately, after the Headmaster leaves, Grimmy makes a surprise visit. Reina and Elmer both transitioned at the same aspiration level. Her elder life bar wasn't even full. Of course, Grimmy won't hear any of that and takes her anyway!

"My time isn't up, you bag of bones! Look, see, I've still got a few days!"
Deaths really seem to get the ghosts going. Araceli wastes no time floating into her former room and waking poor Lucio up. He's given a rather terrifying scare, sending all his mood bars rather low. Fortunately, Araceli leaves the room and begins heading for the kitchen.

"You dirty little brat, remember to make the bed!"
Apparently she doesn't think the maid did a very good job at keeping the Manor tidy. She goes about gathering the stray dishes and putting them in the dishwasher. She's not done there, however... she floats up the stairs and heads for Reina and Elmer's bathroom.

"Clean in life, and clean in death. That's my motto!"
She starts mopping up the mess Elmer always makes when he's showering. She comes back frequently and does this. She left life with maxed cleaning skill and neatness. I don't use any hacks or cheats, so I'm guessing it's a little perk Maxis added in. I wonder if other extreme personality traits come out in ghosts, too?

"Lousy sloppy sims..."
Lucio was close to becoming a teen, so it was time to find him a woman to woo. All the NPCs were either horribly disfigured, or well... something else entirely. I had someone phone the Exterminator and came up with an okay looking girl name Renee.
She had huge lips, but with any luck, the Zamora genes would override hers. Plus, at this point I was in a hurry. I was only two generations from ten!

"What do you mean there aren't any bugs? ...Why're you looking at me like that?"
Meanwhile, the spooks are at it again. They just won't leave poor Gisela be. She gets quite a scare from Dionisio while heading to have some WooHoo with her husband. I love this picture, because it's quite amusing and sets itself up to be captioned.

"Isn't he like, you know... dead?"
Another death then strikes the home. Elmer goes off to join Reina in the great unknown, otherwise known as backyard family plot. He left me a pretty platinum stone in his wake. At this point, I had all five platinum aspiration stones.

"Hey, watch where you're flinging that suitcase!"
Of course, as I mentioned before, ghosts just love a death. Novio took his chance and scared poor Lucio. Maybe he doesn't like having another name with five letters and ending in "io" in the family. Finicky sims!

"This was MY bed first, ya little punk!"
Scare or no scare, the next day Lucio becomes a teenager. A teenager who looks entirely too much like Ripp Grunt. He quickly gets a new hairstyle as well as new threads. I don't think I'll ever be able to have a sim with that hair, they always end up looking like Ripp, regardless of the hair color.
I end up rolling Family for Lucio, which is really fitting. He looks quite a bit like his father, except for the nose. It sort of makes me think of a male version of Jane's.
The Zamora's are quickly becoming the patron saints of sideburns.

"Can I get married yet?"
It appears that not only Valencia and Novio are competing, but that Steve has joined in on their games. He scares poor Lucio when the lad goes to take an innocent shower!

"Ack! I didn't realize it was in use!"
Of course, Valencia isn't about to be outdone by her husband. She wakes up poor Gisela and scares her, causing yet another puddle on the floor.

"Who's your ghost?! That's right, ME!"
The next morning, Lucio is absolutely appalled at his parent's PDA. I guess it doesn't help that Gisela is running about the house in her underwear. She always had a want to change into them!

"That's just GROSS!"
And so ends this entry. I finished the challenge last week, and I'm nearly caught up, thank goodness. I've had to stop playing the Zamora's and a few others families, because I plan to use them in a story and can't have them aging on me!

Oh my Gawd you had me laughing quite a bit this mornining, never saw a ghost clean house maybe it's because all my Sims are sloppy except for my founder. Can't wait to have a sim born with a sloppy/ clean score above 3 sheesh.
Hey Mao,
Your blog looks great! I was wondering how you got the link on your main page that says "read more here..." or something like that, that links to the rest of that entry. I am about to make a big update and I want to do a cut like that, but I don't know how. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Arian, you can find info on how to do this here (http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=898&topic=12). Devin was the one who found it, thank goodness for her! Hope that helps. You will need some HTML/CSS knowledge, but not much.
Thank you so much for the help, Mao...I was getting so ahead of my sims' lives that it is going to be tedious chronicling all that has happened. Thank you!

Aw man, none of my ghosts ever cleaned, but then, I don't think any of them had maxed Neatness -- just high Neatness and maxed Cleaning. Reading your stuff really makes me miss my old Legacy family, with all of the ghosts and general mayhem. I suppose in a few generations Mia's legacy family will be the same way, but I'm really impatient for it! Anyway, wonderful job as always!
I've never seen ghosts clean before! Those kinds of ghosts wouldn't be too bad having around the house ;)
Hi!
I'm new to your site, and I think it's fabulous! Those ghosts just crack me up...my ghosts just float around, scaring people, so I hate it when I get too many on a lot, because I'm just like, Oh yeah, hi Mister Dead Guy, Hi Ms. Dead Woman - my, you're looking nice and transparent today!
Keep it up!
