ET Phone Home... Want Pancakes!

Last time, Gisela became not only a teenager, but a Romance sim. She netted her first kiss in less than two days with some guy she managed to bring home from school. She's a quick worker, that one.

"My lips are over HERE!"

Romance sim or not, she still needed a husband eventually. So I began scoping out the NPC's. As fate would have it, someone set off the fire alarm. I scrolled out to the firetruck... and who should leap out in heroic glory but Connor. If you've never watched the fire(wo)man jump out of the firetruck, do it sometimes. It's highly amusing.

"Whoa! Where's the fire, dudes?"

Since I pretty much decided on Connor after not finding any better looking NPC's, it was time for Gisela to build up her relationship with him. She spent quite a bit of time on the phone. She was either talking to one of her many teen beaus or her soon-to-be-husband. One time in particular, she walked over to where her family was dancing and gave them all funny looks.

"My family is like, totally weird."

Unfortunately for her, the ghosts don't stop scaring. She gets frightened by Steven. Luckily that's it for the night and she's able to rest. The ghosts in this family REALLY don't like Romance sims. It's kind of sad.

"I'm the heir! Stop trying to scare me to death."

Time moves on and soon both Reina and Elmer joined Araceli as elders. It's amusing because Elmer looks like one of those hippy grandpa's, and Reina looks like a cranky old woman.

"Hey, sis... your cramping my style."

Reina may have looked like a crotchety old woman, but that didn't mean she was. In fact, she was outside sitting on the bench when Gisela brought a friend home from school. She instantly began flirting and putting on the moves. Reina looked on and nodded in approval! Maybe she was remembering her wild years as a teen.

"Sniff... like mother, like daughter."

Of course, the ghosts aren't as accepting as Reina. Gisela was about to go in for the make out when Novio leapt out of the table. Keith is oblivious while poor Gisela is scared out of her wits.

"Let's see you make out now! Ha ha ha!"

Meanwhile, Elmer was making discoveries of the other-worldly kind. I quickly headed outside and sure enough, he was engulfed in the blue light. I managed to snap a shot before he was sucked up into the great unknown. The look on his face is priceless!

"Oh crap."

Apparently the womenfolk had heard about sychronized mourning, and decided to give it a shot. Sorry ladies, that's not going to bring Elmer back.

"All together now... whhhyyyyy?!"

The spaceship returns a few hours later and spits Elmer unceremoniously back to Earth. I was shocked to see that Elmer was flying through the air with a plate of pancakes in his hands. I guess the aliens realized he was too old to impregnate, so they gave him a plate of pancakes as a consolation prize.

I had to brighten the picture considerably so you can make out the platter in his hand. The image quality suffers, but I couldn't post it without the plate.

"Who wants pancakes?!"

I didn't get a proper shot of Gisela growing into an adult because I was in a bit of a rush. I had to have her fall in love, get engaged, and married to Connor before she could spin any fears. Here's a picture of her having her 'last supper' as single female.

"Connor, what are your intentions with my daughter?"

Afterwards she pops the question and he accepts. Of course, I am fickle and they didn't get married right then and there. Connor was in dire need of a makeover, first! I'm so glad I have my priorities straight...

"Ooo... pretty..."

Next time... spooks, fires, and a baby.

wow cool update..another abduction too LOL

I love this! I loved the shot of the 3 women all standing around the telescope!

Wow, that's so funny that her name is Gisela, that's my mom's name! How did you come up with it? I obviously don't come across other Gisela's too often so I'm just curious :)

Great update by the way!

I'm using a Spanish naming theme for the Zamora's. That popped up and I liked it. It's really cool your mum has that name! It's such a pretty name.

Actually Gisela is also a German name, my mother is from Germany. That's really interesting that it's also a Spanish name, I've never heard that before. I learn something new everyday! :)

The pancakes made me laugh out loud! Awesome!
