We Are Not Alone...

Hehe... there's a small surprise at the end of this entry. I didn't mention it at the end of my previous post because well, I actually kinda forgot about it! Oh well, at least it'll be a little exciting... or I hope it will. It is interesting to look back on all these pictures... I miss some of these sims. I'm currently on the 9th generation of Zamora's... trying not to play them too much. I want to get caught up before I finish the challenge with them. I also got my RAM... it doesn't exactly help when I'm trying NOT to play. ;) Okay, on with the post!

When last we left Zamora Manor, the family was attempting to adjust to their father's girlfriend. While she didn't technically live there, she might as well have. I was determined to send Steven off in platinum, and seeing as he is a family sim... most his wants revolved around her. So she became a permanent fixture in the household, much to a certain ghost's chagrin.

Despite the fact that Valencia was dead and gone, she was still and always would be Novio's mother. So it was no surprise that not only did he dislike the woman (I had nothing to do with this), he did not approve of their constant PDA. He was, after all, attempting to raise a slightly well-adjusted child!

"Shameless tart!"

Novio wouldn't have to worry much longer, though. Steven's (I have been calling him Steve, but looking over my album, I realized his name was Steven... woops!) days were numbered. It wasn't long until Grimmy glided in, followed by the black mist and hula girls.

Everyone was heartbroken, but in the end it worked out for the best. Novio could send that woman packing and never have to see her again. Unfortunately, they would soon realize that the damage had already been done...

"If I had known the hula girls were this hot I would've died YEARS ago!"

As is the way with Legacy families, Dionisio's birthday occured shortly after his father's passing. It went without ceremony as both Novio and Celeste were terribly busy in their careers. I decided that this time around, I'd let Dionisio have the normal, teen life that his father and grandmother never had.

It started with a cute girl he met at the local shopping mall. As I mentioned before, Dionisio takes after his father and is extremely outgoing... so the "Sweet Talk" ended up being "Wolf Whistle" (which wasn't introduced until University). I've had it happen before, so I'm assuming it has to do with outgoing points.

They later shared a first kiss.

"You want some of this?"

While his son was enjoying his days as a teen, Novio's days as an adult came to an end. He'd spent the majority of his life working on his career and earning money. While it may sound boring to us, he loved it. Little did he know... his elder days would prove more interesting than he'd ever imagined and it'd all be because of the little blonde standing in front of him.

That's Jane, by the way. She and Dionisio were working on their relationship.

"This is NOT Armani!"

As soon as he got his suit (which just adds to his elderly good looks) he went to get a piece of pizza. Steven jumped out of the counter and scared the living daylights out of him. This would mark the beginning of a very tiring and unending string of ghostly visits.

"I KNEW I shouldn't have ordered anchovies..."

Poor Novio. Things weren't going well for him. First the ghost, and then when he tried to fix the TV, he continued the family tradition. He got quite the shock that evening.

This is made all the more amusing by the fact that it never happens to the female Zamora's. They can fix whatever they please with little to no mechanical skill, but let a man start poking at it and... bam! They're gobsmacked with jolt.

"YYEEEOOOOOWWWCCHHHH!!!"

While his father was busy trying to die without giving me a platinum Fortune headstone, Dionisio shot up into an adult. He was quick to phone Jane. They smooched out on the front walk. I finally cleaned up the yard. Yay!

[insert kissy noises here]

Going along with Legacy tradition, they fell in love and Dionisio proposed all in the same night. Despite being a Romance sim, Jane accepted right away. I had them marry right there because I didn't want Jane to have enough time to spin a fear of getting married.

Too bad that as soon as I clicked on her I saw her bar was full of interactions involving Novio, her father-in-law. She wants to flirt with her father-in-law despite the fact she hasn't even been married five minutes! Luckily, she isn't allowed, because the game considers them "family" now. Ha!

Her personality is so-so. Nothing noteworthy.

"Yeah, uh huh, that's great sweetie... have you Novio? I need to... speak with him."

That very same night, Dionisio sees the ghost of his dearly departed grandmother. The time of peace has come to an end. Hello, sims waking up at all hours of the night and totally screwing up my schedule!

Valencia is especially vicious, though.

"Holy geeze grandma, you got... translucent!"

It must have been the night for scaring, because shortly after Celeste donned her gray hair, Steven popped out of the piano and scared her! What a way to grow old.

"Boogity-boogity-boogity!!"

Unfortunately, things did NOT settle down. The next morning there was a fire! Fires are so rare anymore that I never installed a fire alarm. Needless to say, it ended up almost being a disaster. Dionisio was in the deep red as far as hunger was concerned, and had been trying to feed himself. Poor guy, I'd forgotten to give him a break on the telescope. He needs those logic points for his career in science!

"Sigh... legacy families..."

Just when I thought things couldn't possibly get anymore hectic, the astounding happened. Dionisio had been innocently stargazing when suddenly, a blue glow enshrouded him. He looked up only to feel his feet being ripped from the ground. He attempted to clutch desperately to the telescope, but was no match for whatever emitted the strange blue light.

The rest of family came running out of the house too late. Dionisio was already gone.

Next time... the weird just keeps on gettin' weirder at Zamora Manor.

Oh this story just gets better and better. Well I got my 1st haunting in my family so I hope they are not that bad. I'll see. Kuddos on your guy meeting the green dudes, my poor guy is still out there all night and nothing yet ...grrr
Looking forward to the next update. :)

I love aliens! I can't wait to see your next update :D I love the pictures of sims getting shocked by the electronics too. I've never been able to get mine shocked. Even if they have a low mechanical score and I send them to fix something in hopes of seeing them shocked, they always manage to fix it without harm :\

Hey Mao, I'm finally getting caught up on all the blogs. Looks like I've missed some great stuff! The Zamoras are awesome, and I love the names you've chosen, especially "Dionisio". Very cool. OK, I'm off to read the next update!
