Vo Gerbits!

This entry starts off on a weird note. I had Elmer building his logic skill using the Science career reward. He was making medicine when all of the sudden I got a pop up window. I clicked it and was directed to Elmer. He was coughing and sputtering. I told him to make medicine, he did the same. He never managed to finish making the medicine, as anytime he opened it up, he was wracked with coughs. He wasn't sick afterwards, though. It was very odd.


"Wow, that REEKS!"

While Elmer was busy giving the lab equipment a "courtesy sniff", Gisela became a toddler. I didn't get a decent baby picture, so here you see her as a toddler. Her hair is brown and she has blue eyes. She's rather cute in all her life stages.

She only had 30 personality points and was the first sloppy Zamora. Thankfully she was active and ougoing, because I needed the Athletic career object.

She also marks the invasion of the brown hair gene.


"Hello, world!"

Reina really loved Gisela. It was cute. She was always tossing her in the air and playing along with her toys. No female Zamora had been this maternal since Priscila. Reina wasn't a family sim, however, she was Popularity... which just made it all the more bizarre.


"Wheeeee!"

The toddler days passed by quickly with Dionisio helping out. Gisela became a rather cute little tyke. Her charisma was really starting to show. Anyone she spoke to instantly loved her and she had no troubles making friends.


Wait, don't blink! "Oops..."

Unfortunately, with the good comes the bad. Dionisio had lived a long life and it was his time to go. He went out well, but not in platinum. That's all right, I had enough Family platinum graves anyway. I was expecting him to be a resident spook like Valencia and Novio, since he'd led one screwed up life.


"What TOOK you so long? It's 1am. I've been waiting for seven hours!"

The next day, it was Jane's turn. She left the mortal coil in platinum, yay! Too bad Grimmy decided to take her while she was going to the bathroom. How rude.


"That's great, Grimmy... but I reeaaally gotta pee!"

Despite the deaths, things in Zamora Manor were going well. Reina was the mayor, Elmer was almost at the top of his game, and Gisela was the most liked kid in the neighborhood. I think she and Elmer thought themselves mini-celebrities with the way they exited the house each morning.


"Please, hold your applause."

Poor Gisela's happiness wouldn't last, however. Not if the ghosts of her ancestors had anything to do with it. While she was innocently catching some Z's, Steven woke her up and nearly scared her to death. As if that weren't enough, before she could even think about climbing back into bed, Dionisio popped out at her! It's amazing she even survived the night.



This is a REALLY bad pitch for a Double Mint Gum commercial...

The next morning I was amused to see Reina and Gisela discussing ghosts at the breakfast table. I can just see Gisela spouting and sputtering while Reina calmly replies, "Don't worry, eventually you'll get used to it."


"Ghosts can't hurt you... well, actually, they can. Maybe you should talk with your father about this..."

Ghosts or no ghosts, eventually Gisela matured into a lovely young lady. I rolled Romance. I was dubious, but there was really nothing I could do... so I decided I'd let her have her fun as a teen then tame her as an adult.


"Mothers, lock up your sons! Gisela's on the prrrowl."

Next time... Enter Connor; Fireman, Keanu Impersonator ("woah..."), and "That dude with a really prominent chin".... A.K.A. Gisela's hubby-to-be.

A Note on Ghosts: Please don't base haunting frequencies on my family. I go out of my way to provoke the ghosts inside (I keep every tombstone, all the original beds, and never delete any items ((they've had the same piano since gen 2)). It just suits how I want the Zamora family to be. That eccentric bunch with ethnic names who live in a really big house with various wings hiding many secrets. I had recieved some comments awhile back and kept forgetting to address it. I figured now was the best time since ghost scares will likely be in every post.
