Vo Gerbits!

I'm experiencing a very odd/annoying bug in my game. My current generation of Zamora's all randomly lost their very high paying jobs. Now they can't fulfill their platinum wants because well, they are elders and can't get normal jobs. This has me a little upset, but thankfully the 10th generation isn't far off. I'm just glad I haven't had any critical bugs... I can just move them into a different lot once generation 10 arrives anyway. Not sure if this is an isolated issue (I never use hacks or cheats), if not, be wary... sigh. Maxis needs to stop with the expansions and fix the bugs!

Well, back to the generation this blog is currently on. First things first, Novio kicks the bucket. He leaves the living sim world in platinum, so I'm not going to complain. He's on his way to becoming Zamora Manor's resident spook!


She won't be crying when she reads his will!

Not a day passed before Celeste joined her husband in the great unknown. Unfortunately, Celeste's future as a ghost wouldn't be so bright. Her stupid sim dictator (me) accidentally had her resurrected as a zombie on another lot... she looked too much like another sim. It was an accident. So I lost her platinum popularity headstone... drat!!

Once again, the yard is cluttered. Novio's last wants had been to buy things, so I had to indulge him and mess up the yard.


"But I don't want to become a zombie!"

Finally, a shot of Reina as a child. I was a little frightened as it seemed she'd inherited the infamous Zamora nose, but luckily it isn't as bad on girls. I'm getting ahead of myself, though. Here she is, in all her heir glory.

Her personality is an EXACT replica of Dionisio's.


It's good to be the heir.

Celeste wasn't gone yet, however, and was still free to roam the lot and scare her relatives. She started off by leaping out of the piano at Dionisio. Poor guy, he didn't touch that nasty old piano again.


"Think happy thoughts... like bunnies... and daisies..."

After Novio's death, Jane finally spun some wants to do romantic things with Dionisio. Its about time! I think it was all a sham though. She was realizing her youth would soon be behind her, and she wanted the money! Can't tell a sim that, though.

Poor Araceli just wanted to brag about her grades, but Dionisio was too busy to pay attention. Meanwhile, one of Reina's friends looks on.


"Heeeeyyy! A+ down here. Look, look!" "Is that where babies come from?"

The amorous couple continued their flirting and kissing, much to Reina's dismay. She was absolutely horrified! That's really messed up, because she's mad at her mum for cheating on her grandpa. She doesn't care about her father. How sad. This is what I meant by the effects of the affair spreading to the next generation. Sheesh.


"How can you two LIVE with yourselves?!"

Of course, there was even more ghost activity. This time focused on poor Reina. All she was trying to do was sleep! What do these ghosts have against the rest of their family sleeping, anyway? Sheesh.

Even worse, it was by Novio! This wouldn't be the first time she saw the ghost of her dearly departed grandfather...


"You're MEAN ghost grandpa!"

Of course, all children must eventually become teens, and soon came Reina's time. I was surprised, she turned out to be a not-so-bad-looking young woman. Then again... she also grew up looking like a Lilith Pleasant wannabe. Even more so, I rolled Popularity for her! It was definitely time for an image change.

I find it amusing how Oberon--who's having an affair with Jane--is looking at Reina in this picture. He's giving her the eyes while Jane shoots him a forced smile, "touch my daughter and die, pig."


"Oh yeah! Looking good."

There hadn't been any 'deviant' Zamora heirs yet, so I decided to make Reina walk on the wild side. She chopped off her hair and got some new--but still red--clothes. She may have the same personality as Dionisio, but its amazing what a few changes and a different aspiration can do. (In case I never mentioned it, Dioniso was a family sim)


"I'm so bad it hurts!"

Of course, that wasn't the only action and excitement in the house. One evening Dionisio was gazing out at the stars when he saw something strange in the sky. Sure enough, the aliens were back. He was only a few days from becoming an elder, however, so there was no chance of a pregnancy. Drat!

Now everyone in the family was afraid of Dionisio being abducted again, as well as being abducted themselves. All except for Araceli, who was a Knowledge sim. It just made her want it even more. Unfortunately, she never got her wish.


"Noooo! I don't wanna go!"

Not long after his second visit with the aliens, Dionisio became an elder. Jane also transitioned the same day. Would her old age slow down her romancing ways? Not likely.

They both transitioned in low green, so they would be around long enough to help with the toddlers... but probably not long enough to see their grandchildren become teenagers.


"All of the sudden... I have a strange interest in game shows involving... graphs..."

Seeing as Reina was halfway through her teen years, I figured it was time to find her a husband. I remembered seeing a decent looking police man awhile back, so I kept phoning them until he arrived. Several thousand dollars later, enter Elmer. I am convinced the Zamora's will never rid of the blue eyes.


"No, you can't borrow my handcuffs."

Next time... Reina takes the 'reins' of the legacy and Zamora manor gets a major overhaul.
